WinterPRIDE
February
WinterPRIDE Whistler, Canada's biggest and best gay ski week, has morphed over the years into a huge community-wide event featuring parties, skiing, fine dining, theatre, music and more that promises to heat up the resort during February.
TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival
April
The annual TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival, Whistler's April extravaganza, is unquestionably the largest music and snowsport celebration in North America.
The festival creates an energy that electrifies the resort for ten incredible days and is made up of a number of individual events.
Dogfest
April
During the annual Dogfest, the town is turned into a party in reverence to our four legged friends. On Saturday afternoon the Dog Parade kicks off with around keen participants decked out in their finery, that's the dogs and owners of course. Other events include the Paws Ahead agility presentation and the Paws2Dance dancing dog display.
The fun continues the next day with a Silly Dog Tricks contest, free family entertainment and a great opportunity to enjoy some quality time with your beloved pet.
Whistler Mountain Bike Park
May - Oct
Visitors can experience thrills and (hopefully not too many) spills each summer at the Mountain Bike Park in Whistler Mountain.
The park has 33 trails that cover around 200km altogether. The terrain is of varying degrees of difficulty, suitable for everyone from beginners to experts. So whether you try out Golden Triangle, Crack Addict or Flying Mile, excitement is guaranteed.
Whistler Children's Art Festival
July
A magical fun-filled weekend for the entire family in Whistler's Creekside featuring a multitude of hands-on workshops led by professional artists for kids and families in fine arts, crafts, theatre, multi-media, dance and music. The festival comes alive with entertainment by roving musicians, zany characters and popular children's performers on the main stage.

UCI World Cup of Mountain Biking: Whistler
July
The Whistler event is a Triple World Cup and features all three World Cup disciplines: Cross country, Downhill and Dual. Whistler is one of only 12 sites worldwide to host an event as part of this prestigious series and only one of four sites to have been awarded a triple event.
The World Cup will draw over 400 professional athletes from more than 40 countries.
Canadian National BBQ Championships
August
The Canadian National BBQ Championships competition is the highlight of the Pacific Northwest's competitive BBQ circuit, and a draw qualifier event for the American Royal World Championships in Kansas City as well as the Jack Daniel's World Championship BBQ event in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Whistler Cornucopia
November
Celebrate gourmet food and great wines in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Whistler Film Festival

Held in spectacular surroundings, the Whistler Film Festival features four days of screenings and shows around 100 independent features and short films, six of which compete for the C$10,000 Philip Borsos Award. More than half of the programme is Canadian.
