Winter Solstice Lantern Parade
December 21st
Kick-off the weekend early by celebrating Winter Solstice at the Maury Young Arts Centre at 5 PM on Thursday. Join in on a lantern parade to brighten the darkest day of the year and celebrate the end of Canada’s 150. The parade will make its way through the village, following the Cultural Connector route, and finish by Whistler Olympic Plaza with live music, entertainers, and activities that the whole family will enjoy.
Carols & Cheer
December 22nd
Welcome in Christmas with some Carols & Cheer this Friday at the Whistler Public Library. Come on down from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM to sing some traditional Christmas carols with local musician, Laura Nedelak. Everyone is welcome to come sing and enjoy festive treats and hot chocolate.
Made in Whistler Market
December 23rd
Squeeze in some last minute Christmas shopping or grab a few stocking stuffers at the Made in Whistler artisan market on Saturday. Get out from the cold during the day and browse through a variety of unique produces, from handcrafted jewellery, fine art, clothing, baked goods, pottery, and much more. Drop by during the day, between 12 PM - 6 PM, to pick your loved ones up a special gift.
The Whistler Holiday Experience
December 22nd to January 4th, 2018 (Closed December 25 and 31)
For 14 days over Christmas and the New Year, Whistler Holiday Experience spreads holiday cheer with an indoor family fun zone at the Whistler Conference Centre. Both children and parents will be entertained with a wide range of activities including; a mini putt course, table games, bouncy castles, crafts, video games, and more.
