Whistler 50 Relay & Ultra

The Whistler 50 Relay & Ultra is an annual event held each fall in Whistler. This 80 km race is open to relay teams of 8, 4, or 2 members as well as solo ultra-marathoners. The course itself is centred around Whistler Village and the beautiful Valley Trail system. The race also comes with a pre-race social and post-race finish line party.

Founded in 2001, the Whistler Writers Festival is having its 17th annual celebration of the written word this October. The festival is a lovely blend of speaker panels, workshops, dinners, galas, and more. If you fancy yourself a bit of a bookworm, the Whistler Writers Festival is the place to be.
Fall for Arts
Whistler is no stranger to arts and culture, and to prove that, an entire season is dedicated to it! Fall for Arts is Whistler’s three-month celebration of arts and culture in the Sea to Sky Corridor. All autumn there are countless exhibits, galleries, events, and workshops to explore while you’re here. Visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre for a celebration of the local First Nations past and present, or take a tour of the Audain Art Museum which houses an impressive permanent collection and frequently hosts temporary exhibits.
